Oops, a bit overdue

My bad, this update is a bit overdue with the previous one being from February 2026. The deck is still alive!

Exciting news is that I have actually won a game with the deck! If memory serves, it was the game where I opened a Super Shredder. Other than that, there been limited, incremental changes to the deck. I would recommend that anyone who wishes to use the Beleaguered Boxer for themselves to start with 99 basics in some combination (including wastes). I find it difficult to get to a spot where there are cards I’m willing to part with (could be fixed by playing more often or being willing to part with Craterhoof).

Unfortunately, these updates will probably continue being sparse due to positive reasons (so far as I’m concerned). I have found more means to play preferred formats such as Legacy as well as people to play other card games with like Pokemon (Last tournament i went to was 2012-ish due to long distances). EDH is not the way with Magic that I like to engage with, but with it now being the default way to play, the Boxer continues to live as my preferred way to engage with the format.
